Only got one book at the MIBF proper, a real departure from previous years. Snagged a paperback of God's War of the Bel Dame Apocrypha by Kameron Hurley, thanks to Kam, a book I've already read, but was so lonely I couldn't forsake there in the uncaring book fair, and then Super Graphic by Tim Leong when I went to Rockwell that same evening. The next day, I used some GCs I got for my birthday from cindyg Tita Cindy and got The Complete Alcatraz by Brandon Sanderson, all four books of it in one omnibus, as well as Manila Noir, a short story collection edited by Jennifer Hagedorn, and one I've been wanting to buy for a while.
I'm only on the fourth chapter of Ringworld as I have been distracted over the weekend.
I've finally gotten to watch The World's End, directed by Edgar Wright, the final movie in the Blood and Ice Cream trilogy and I enjoyed it a whole lot. Also caught up with the latest two episodes of Adventure Time, and the first two episodes of the new season of The Legend of Korra. I'm going to watch the two Puella Madoka Magica movies as soon as I finish preparing everything for my meeting with my advisor tomorrow morning.
Next weekend is the Mind Museum's Renaissance Fair, which I am pretty damn excited about. :)
